 Marc Uknis, MD, FACS, MBA

Dr. Uknis is a graduate of Temple University (BA 1986, MD 1990). He is a transplant surgeon trained at the University of Minnesota and has performed pancreas and islet transplantation at Minnesota, Harvard, and the University of Massachusetts. He left clinical surgery in 2007, received his MBA from George Washington University in 2008, and has since held positions of increasing responsibility from Medical Director through Vice President/Chief Medical Officer for small, mid, and large cap Biotechnology companies. He has been a participant in $5.8 Billion total value of acquisitions and mergers since 2008. He has had 2 worldwide marketing authorization approvals for orphan diseases (Cinryze for Hereditary Angioedema and Maribavir for CMV infection in Transplant patients). 

Ben Goldberg

Ben is the founder of BSG Advisors, a consulting firm with a practice focused on providing fractional CFO or COO expertise to emerging growth and middle market companies, particularly in the technology, life sciences, cleantech, and advanced manufacturing industries.  Prior to founding BSG Advisors, Ben served as CFO of a $20 million manufacturer of packaging materials and a $25 million manufacturer of bar code scanning equipment. Earlier in his career, he worked for several Fortune 100 companies in positions in Engineering, Operations, and Finance.  He also taught in the Graduate Business School at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  Ben received his Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Lehigh University and his MBA from the University of Delaware.  He is active in a number of civic and charitable organizations. He served as elected Auditor for his Township.

Christine Voigt, PhD

Christine Voigt is a senior pharmaceutical executive with over 20 years of global clinical development leadership, specializing in rare disease, hematology, oncology, transplant, and autoimmune areas. She has built and led high-performing Clinical Scientist organizations, focusing on medical monitoring, protocol development, regulatory submissions, and cross-functional leadership from early to lifecycle stages. Her expertise includes defining organizational models, driving scientific standards, and developing clinical talent pipelines. She has held senior roles at Immunovant, BlueSphere Bio, Gemini Therapeutics, and CSL Behring, leading clinical strategy, regulatory planning, and program execution across multiple modalities. 

Christine holds a Ph.D. from Duke University and a B.A. from Wesleyan University, with patents and publications in graft-versus-host disease, factor IX therapies, and hemophilia. Her experience encompasses global regulatory interactions, clinical trial design, and organizational development.

Liz Sigety

For over 35 years, Liz has served as a trusted adviser to clients across the country. Her skills extend to venture capital and angel financing, mergers and acquisitions, structured finance, securities, private placements, franchise regulatory matters and franchise agreements.

As Chair of the firm's national Emerging Companies & Venture Capital Practice Group and former Co-Chair of the firm’s Franchise & Distribution practice, Liz offers her clients comprehensive risk management through innovative guidance related to a company’s expansion and daily operations.

Liz acts as general counsel for numerous emerging and middle-market businesses, including life science, technology, franchise and hospitality companies. She oversees and coordinates their finance and regulatory matters.

Liz is also a member of the firm’s Corporate Securities Practice Group and M&A Practice Group.
